All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete a Registration Form.  Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form.  Should you experience any difficulties please contact the Conference Managers at the elderabuseconference@arinex.com.au

*A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. Please note: A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Conference Manager via email to elderabuseconference@arinex.com.au or faxed to + 61 2 9267 5443. Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Attendance at the Welcome Reception is not included in day registration fee. If you would like to purchase a ticket, you may do so via the online registration form, please click here. Alternatively, please email the Conference Managers at elderabuseconference@arinex.com.au . The cost of each ticket is $75.00.

Optional Social Program

The Conference Dinner is an optional social event for delegates to attend. The Conference Dinner will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the Tom Wills Room. The dinner will be held on Wednesday 24 February 2016 from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets to the dinner are $120 per person and can be purchased via the online registration page.

Credit Card

Credit Card Payments Online Registration is preferred. Please visit our website to register and book your accommodation. Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ElderAbuse2016 by Arinex.

Other Payment Options

If you are unable to pay by credit card please contact the organisers for assistance via email: elderabuseconference@arinex.com.au 

From thirty (30) days prior to the Conference all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers via elderabuseconference@arinex.com.au.

Registration Fees:

Cancellation before 23/11/2015 will incur A$100.00 cancellation fee
Cancellation before 12/01/2016 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid
Cancellation after 12/01/2016 there will be no refund

Accommodation:
One night’s deposit must be paid at the time of booking to guarantee reservation. Deposit is non-refundable at 20/01/2016

Social:
Payments are non-refundable at 23/01/2016

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be confirmed on full payment of fees due.

Name badge

Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration on site at the Conference.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times during the Conference to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.  The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Certificate of Attendance

Should you wish to request a Certificates of Attendance please advise the Conference Managers during the Conference. A Certificate will be issued via email after the completion of the Conference.

Groups

Group Registration

Group registration is offered when a single entity registers ten (10) or more participants.  To enquire about a group registration please email the Conference Managers at the email address given on the homepage.

Group registration is available to assist organisations wishing to send multiple participants to the Conference.  A list of participants must be nominated when submitting the group registration form but can be changed.  The final list of participants must be emailed to the Conference Managers fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement of the Conference.  Please note that registration fees applicable for group registrations will be the fees as advertised at the date of payment of the registration fees.

Private Touring, Private Functions, Hospitality Arrangements

Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, private functions, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official program, please contact the Conference Managers who will be pleased to assist with arrangements.

It is requested that you advise the Conference Managers of any private /corporate functions that may be planned outside of the official program.  This will assist in smooth planning of all official and other events during the Conference.

The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.

Insurance

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel, you purchase an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Managers and Hosts cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
